Simple Solutions Digital Entertainment expands on this goal by giving our Team Members ample opportunities to attend manufacturer training, programming and product knowledge courses. Many of our employees are CEDIA Certifiied and Crestron Certified and we believe our quality, knowledge and experience shows in all of our projects and our “white glove” customer experience.

President/Owner: Richard Berrie is a life long technology buff. From his earliest years with two channel audio to the very first surround sound processor over twenty years ago, Richard has had a passion for music and video. His experience with the industry as a customer was less than stellar. Custom high-end dealers would over promise and under deliver over and over. Richard knew there had to be a better way to serve the customers, meet or exceed expectations and deliver state-of-the-art systems, service and dependability. “We will not install a system in our client’s home or office that does not meet our standard for ease of use, dependability and value. We make a great effort to understand our client’s lifestyle, needs, wants and comfort level.

Project Manager: Brian Johnson has over 15 years of experience in security, high voltage and low voltage industry. He brings a commitment to excellence, knowledge, experience and an understanding of the construction industry to each project. Brian is responsible for implementing the project and making sure everyone is on the same page.

One of Brian’s many strengths is client relations. Clients continually give feedback on how well Brian managed the project and communicated effectively to keep the project on time and budget. Brian is CEDIA Level I Certified, Crestron Certified, and has multiple certifications in security, low voltage and programming.

Operations Manager: John Morello is a twenty year veteran of the Audio/Video industry. John has managed a multi-million dollar South Florida A/V business for over ten years starting as an installer and working his way up to technician, service manager and ultimately sales and corporate management. John is responsible to provide support to our staff and clients and make sure that projects are completed successfully.

Lead Technician: James Aikens has over ten years of experience as an IT professional and Audio/Video and Integration specialist. James is extremely talented in electronics and computer networks and is able to merge the two disciplines which adds incredible power and functionality to each project. James is responsible to test every system in-house prior to delivery to the clients home or business. He is responsible to build and program the system to our specifications and deliver a complete, dependable product. In addition, James has incorporated a server on most systems we install that allow Simple Solutions Digital to remotely add, change troubleshoot and repair 90% of issues from our office without the need for a service call. James is CEDIA Level II Certified, Crestron Certified as well as over 30 industry certifications in multiple products and disciplines.

Field Technicians:  Edward Lefavor & Peter Marchese.  Eddie and Peter are our field technicians. They are the key to our success. They are responsible to install our pre-built, pre-programmed systems to our clients’ homes and connect them to the infrastructure in place. Their attitude, ability and consideration of our clients’ needs are second to none. Both have been in the industry for over five years each and have the ability to troubleshoot, program, install and finish complex projects to very tight specifications. We are proud to have Eddie and Peter as an integral part of our team. Edward is Crestron Certified and studying for his CEDIA Level I.
